UNIFORM DRESS CODE
The Spotswood College uniform (Formal or Sports Uniform) should always be worn correctly and in a way to reflect the pride and mana for both the school and students.
A high standard of appearance is expected of all students at Spotswood College.
The dress code for Year 13 students is non-uniform. However, Year 13 students are expected to dress appropriately and appearance should not be offensive.
ALL other year levels are required to wear the correct uniform at all times, including footwear.
Please note: Students must wear either the formal black pants/shorts/skirts or sport shorts or track pants. Cargo pants, jeans and ripped pants are not permitted. Comfortable, suitable footwear that is appropriate for the learning programme, ie sports shoes for a sports programme, should also be worn.
Students who do not wear the correct uniform will have these items collected from them and these will be returned at the end of the week. Whānau will be contacted in the event their child continuously refuses to adhere to the Spotswood College dress code.
SECOND HAND UNIFORM
Spotswood College appreciates good-condition uniforms being donated at the School Office. These are often provided to students who cannot obtain items or provided as a short-term loan during the day.
