The drama department offers theatre studies at junior and senior level, offering classes that focus on  Aotearoa and Pasifika theatre and more traditional, European historical theatre styles such as Elizabethan and Brechtian. We also have a Poly club where students can learn dance, experience the wider culture and traditions of the Pasifika peoples and there are various opportunities to perform in the community at events. There are also multiple opportunities to see live theatre in several local venues and the chance to be involved in our annual production which usually takes place in August. The senior class also has the chance to perform in the annual Shakespeare festival in Stratford at the end of term one each year.
